Direct Liquidation Disclaimers and Tips to Ensure a Successful Experience
Information regarding scheduling your appointment:
- If there are concerns regarding the goods, they must be addressed at the time of pickup.
- Any discrepancies must be notated on the BOL at the time of pickup.
- Buyer must have a dock height trailer, as loading trucks outside of the dock doors is not permitted.
- Vehicles that will not be loaded:
- Flatbeds
- Box trucks
- Personal pick up trucks
- Uhauls
- Any Buyer who arranges their own shipping is responsible for the carrier receiving payment regardless of whether the Buyer’s broker has been paid.
- Buyer must arrange lift gate requirements with chosen carrier.
- If Buyer refuses shipment of the merchandise or inventory upon arrival at designated shipping destination, they are responsible for the associated shipping charges to return the goods.
- Any Buyer who arranges the shipping of purchased goods thereby waives the right to claim damages or non-conformity of goods once the goods are released by Seller.
Information regarding your pick-up appointment:
- Driver showing up without a same-day appointment will be turned away
- Driver must present a BOL that matches the one uploaded to your appointment, or the order will not get loaded
- Missing your pick-up time by more than two hours may result in your appointment being cancelled and a delay of your order being fulfilled.
- Failure to pick up within 5 business days will result in a daily storage fee of $7 per pallet
- Un-scheduled order will be marked for deletion and associated Direct Liquidation user account will incur a 10% re-stocking fee of the final transaction price and an account suspension.
Information on receiving your product:
- Upon arrival, if there are any overages, shortages, or damages, please make sure to note them on the BOL before signing it. We also recommend that you take pictures of the goods before and during the unloading process to increase your chances at receiving compensation from the trucking company if something went wrong.
Requests for Returns
- Buyer must inspect the received goods and report any discrepancies within five (5) business days following delivery or waive any claim for damages or non-conformity of the goods.
Cancellation Policy
- If Buyer cancels the buyer arranged pickup within twenty-four (24) hours of scheduled appointment time, it may result in a re-stocking fee of $150.
