Snapper
Snapper was established in 1894 in Georgia, USA where is began as Southern Saw Works, a company that produced equipment for the lumber industry. The company was acquired by the McDonough Power Company that elected to take the company in the direction of manufacturing lawnmowers and lawn care equipment.
After producing the world’s first, self-propelled, rotary lawn mower, the company went onto produce a range of push mowers, rideable lawnmowers, trimmers, leaf blowers, and other garden care equipment. In 2004, Snapper was acquired by Briggs and Stratton.
