Kobalt

Kobalt is the in-house brand of hand tools produced by Lowe’s. Launched in 1998, Kobalt was created as a means of producing affordable, mid-range reliable tools for the American public, to allow Lowe’s to compete with other established firms such as Sears and Home Depot, who also produce tools under an own-brand.
Now produced in Las Vegas, Kobalt is one of 3 in-house brands at Lowe’s, alongside Task Force, and Blue Hawk. They are known for hand tools such as screwdrivers and ham#mers, but also powered hand tools, such as drills and saws.
