JBL
JBL, named for one its founders James Bullough Lansing, was established in 1927 in Los Angeles, California by Lansing and his business partner Ken Decker. Starting out manufacturing speaker drivers for radio consoles, the company soon expanded and today, manufacture a range of loudspeakers, portable speakers, amplifiers, monitors, headphones, subwoofers, car audio equipment, and lots of other audio components and accessories.
The company, which is divided into JBL Consumer and JBL Professional, is owned by Samsung Electronics.
