Cobra
Cobra Electronics, based in Chicago, Illinois, USA, is a manufacturer of mobile communication and navigation hardware. Started in 1948 by Carl Korn, Cobra started began as a repair service for televisions, before merging with other small electronics to form the Dynascan corporation.
The company took off with the development of the first citizen’s band (CB) radio; one of which was called the Cobra, which proved so popular the company eventually took it for its name. Cobra also manufactures a range of radios, dash cams, radar detectors, portable hard drives, and many other electronic accessories.
