Brother

Brother is a manufacturer of electronic equipment based in Aichi, Japan. The company was started by Kanekichi Yasui in 1908, who sold and repaired sewing machines under the Yasui Sewing Machine Co.

Yasui’s sons continued his work, developing a process for manufacturing sewing machines and started to sell the first machines produced entirely in Japan under the new banner of Brother. The company then expanded its range to printers, PCs, laptops, labelers, fax machines, and other industrial equipment and components.
